I am participating in Based India to connect with a community of like-minded developers and innovators who are passionate about building decentralized solutions. My interest in blockchain technology aligns with the spirit of the hackathon, and I see this as an opportunity to learn, grow, and contribute to the vibrant tech community in the region. Being a part of this hackathon allows me to explore how blockchain can be applied to education and create value through technology.

One of the key challenges I am addressing is making learning and testing knowledge more engaging and rewarding for users. Traditional quiz apps don’t provide any tangible rewards, which can reduce user motivation. By leveraging blockchain, I aim to create a system where users have a financial stake in their quizzes, thus making learning more interactive and incentivized. Additionally, I want to address the lack of transparency in online quiz reward systems by ensuring users can trust the process through decentralized transactions.

My project, Quizzy, transforms the quiz experience by introducing a financial incentive using blockchain. Users pay a small fee in Aptos tokens to take a quiz. If they perform well, their payment is refunded, offering a tangible reward for their effort. This mechanism not only motivates users to engage more deeply with the quizzes but also introduces a sense of fairness and transparency. By utilizing smart contracts, users can be assured that the reward process is automated and tamper-proof, fostering trust and engagement in the learning process.

One technical challenge I faced was integrating Aptos payments into a user-friendly mobile experience. The process involved setting up smart contracts in the Move language, connecting with the Pontem wallet, and ensuring secure transactions. Another challenge was creating a fair refund system that executes based on quiz scores, which required precise logic in smart contracts. I overcame these by thoroughly researching Aptos documentation, testing the contract logic on Remix, and leveraging the Kaptos SDK to streamline the user-wallet interaction on Android.
